Yikes. I must say though, I really, really hope they don't kill the tiger because of this. A tiger is a wild animal and forcing him to live in captivity... well, as you say, it really is a wonder this kind of thing didn't happen sooner. I loathe circuses or magic shows that use animals.

I agree. I kept waiting for news reports that the tiger had been put down. Forcing a tiger to be tame does not a tame tiger make. Killing it because it hasn't been beaten into submission is terribly fucked up. I really hope they don't kill it. Tigers are so fucking rare.
