angelchickenYAY! I'm going to see Simon and Garfunkel(-le?)! At the Garden! I am so excited! I saw Paul Simon and Bob Dylan at Jones beach a few years ago and it was faboo (though I really didn't understand a word Dylan said).
My excitement, it knows no bounds.
And it's almost time to go home! For the weekend! Which will be crappy! And can I abuse the exclamation point any more?!?!

Happiness is a busy, but not insane, Friday. And new pants.

I am very excited for the premier of Angel. I can't wait. I am counting down and imagining scenarios and everything. I can't wait.
But it isn't Buffy, and that keeps breaking my heart.
Yes there will be Spike and Wes and the others, and there isn't really any bad there (I like Fred-- when she isn't with Gunn. And Angel-- when he isn't with Buffy.
But no Buffy.
No Xander.
No Giles
No Anya (not even the hope of Anya *sob*)
No Dawn or Willow or Andrew.
No 1630 Revello Drive or Espresso Pump. No Restfield with its big, creepy cereal boxes of death.
No Magic Box.
No weapons training.
How can Buffy be over? I keep waiting for the promos. But they aren't there. And that sucks. A lot.
So I am feeling kind of bittersweet about the new season. Hooray for Angel and The O.C. and maye even Smallville.
But these is a big Sunnydale sized hole in my heart. I miss my Buffy.

But it still isn't the same. Console yourself with your favourite fan fic, my dear, and hold back the tears.
