My mother just sent me a care package with not one, not two, but twelve Tony Robbins self-help double disk CDs. And a helpful video.

I am now the round owner of two dozen self help CD's from scary Tony Robbins.

And oddly enough, my mom wasn't trying to tell me anything. She has had them lying around - unopened - for five years, and hasn't used them, so she sent them to me. They will be heading to the local library ever so soon.

*nods head in disbelief*

In other news, I realized (well, consciously, I always knew) that I have two identical Elmo dolls in my apartment. One sits on a Kleenex box on my dresser under my mirror, and the other sits in my mail basket. The one in my mail basket is naked. The one on my dresser is wearing an off-white scrunchie as a collar and about half a dozen gummi bracelets.

I find this odd. Do you thin that Mail!Elmo is jealous of Dresser!Elmo's saucy attire? Or maybe relieved that he is somewhere that he can't be randomly bedecked when the mood hits me.

I haven't done bout my car yet. I probably won't today. Maybe tomorrow.

And I was up until 2:30 in the morning reading pepperlandgirl4's Buffy/Mr. William (and the sequels) series. It's fabulous. And I want more. Now. They good news is, I can probably get it! Pepper is a lean, mean writing machine.

Every time I see Tony Robbins, I think of that scene in Shallow Hal when Hal meets Tony in an elevator, and Hal comments on Tony's huge fingers by calling him "banana hands." Hee! For some reason that cracks me up, and now Tony will always be Banana Hands.

Heh. I watched TYF the other night, and when Spike told Adam "You're like Tony Robbins, except all big and scary and Frankenstein-like... you're JUST like Tony Robbins!" I laughed and laughed, because for some reason that was the first time I ever got that joke.

Am I perverse for thinking "what? She's not even going to listen to them for a laugh." Or, actually if you're like me, make mix tapes/cds for people with snippets of Tony Robbins in between.
