angelchicken | Things are looking up!

So, I was in the Rockefeller Center concourse because I had to go to the post office and didn't feel like going back outside, and you can get to my building underground from the post office. It's kind of nice.

I am having kind of a crappy day, and while I am being all moody, I realize that there is a Godiva Chocolatier on the way to my building.

And chocolate makes everything better.

I go in and I'm the only person in there. The sales man (whose name I didn't get but was just about the nicest man on the planet) helped me to pick out something I might like. I ended up getting a four pack of truffles, which is just so much goodness.

As he is ringing it up I mention I have a Rock Center privilege card which means 15% off Rock Center purchases. So my seven dollar truffles are now six twenty. Then I mention that I am having a kind of crappy day so I am self medicating with chocolate. So he just *gives* me three pieces of almond bark. Two milk chocolate, one dark chocolate.

I have to say, that was just the best thing ever.
