Okay, smartypants. Yes. I mean you.

You've made Rice Krispie Treats. You've licked the bowl. You've pressed into pan. And now, you're currently letting them cool.

So how do you store them so that they don't get all soggy and yucky or stale and yucky in three seconds? Tupperware? Paper? Saran wrap on the pan? Foil? Glass, porcelain, pyrex, pottery? I got's to know. Because even I can't eat a 13x9 inch pan of RKT's in one sitting (though I have given it a valiant effort in the past).

Kind of random other: Isn't it funny how memory works? Like how there are some things that you think you should remember that completely escape you, but there there are some completely random, uneventful memories that will never go away?
Case in point- When I was about 12, my mom asked me to make RKTs for my brothers class, as it was his birthday. I agreed, because, mmmmmmm. And I just remember making something like six batches of rice krispie treats in about two hours. That's a helluva lot of treats.

Why exactly do I remember this?

And happiness is the microwave which allows people like me to make rice krispie treats in five fast minutes. Mmmmmmm.

Now I have to go clean the bowl before an impenetrable marshmellow crust forms and renders my bowl useless for future culinary endeavours.

I just leave them in whatever pan and put saran wrap over them. They seem to keep.

Mmm, Rice Krispie Treats!

They're easy-peasy to store. You can cut them up into squares and put them in a Tupperware container and they'll be fine, or, if you don't have one, wrapping the pan in Saran wrap would work as well - just make sure it's tight against the top of the RKTs.
