Hello, my friends.

I need help.

I need a new phone.

One that sounds clear, first and foremost.

One that I can use to text, preferably with T9 or one of its ilk, second and secondmost.

One that has a camera.

I like Verizon and I'm not going to change the plan. I just need a good phone that isn't pricey or overly complicated. I was looking at some nice flip-phones by Motorola, Samsung and LG.

I also have a $100 credit towards this phone because my old phone (with keys that don't necessarily like to work and sound that is somewhat spotty) is on its way out which is sad. I like that phone. except for the part with the nonworking keys and the bad sound. And crappy camera. And, uh, well, I *liked* that phone, when it was new.

Any thoughts?

I'm going to talk to my sister tomorrow. She works at Verizon and should have an idea about what phones might suit your needs.

Oh, thank you my love. And no worries if it doesn't work. I am glad Sunsis is okay and I hope you are okay, too! Poor Xander and Family Sun!

I have LG's env2. I'm liking it so far, though this is the first year it came out and they are always open to more glitches then.

PROS
*Clear, good camera
*Clear reception
*Tiny kepboard is awesome for texting and other stuff
*Not too heavy, but feels substantial in my hand and I like that better than the piece of tin that I had before (the Razr).
*Good battery life

CONS
*The camera doens't have a zoom until after you've taken the picture. After taking the pic, you can edit the shot to zoom and crop, etc.
*While it has good battery life, it also doesn't warn you when it's going to die. Which maynot be a negative to you, but I wish it would beep or something.

I think that's it. I also think the price has gone down so you'd be able to use your credit and not have to pay anything.

Hmmmmm, that is a thought. It's pretty and flippy (two things I like) but it also looks somewhat busy. Though I do like the thought of a qwerty keyboard.

Are the tiny keys hard to use? Is it difficult to switch between phone/text?

THIS IS SO STRESSFUL!!! Why don't they just make my old phone, still. I like my old phone. *le sigh*

Thank you, my darling, for the help.

The keyboard is actually really easy to use and the keys not too small. I use my full finger and don't accidentally hit other keys and I find that I text more because of it...which isn't good for me and my plan, but hey, positive for the phone :)

It honestly looks more complicated than it is. And just snap it shut and use the regular outside phone for regular phone use. I do find the switch from text to phone easy. I definitely rec going down there and playing with it yourself a bit.

Please feel free to ask any questions you have :) And good luck! I know how stressful it can be.
