angelchickenIt's five o'clock in the morning and I am awake, by the rain or the ache in my hip or both or neither. Who knows.
And when did I become a person who has hip pain that keeps me up?
It's not something I experience often, but it has been particularly bad this week, so I'm wondering if I don't maybe have a barometric hip.
It's pouring now (small teeny twinge of guilt I'm not helping my mom set up with the Farmers Market, but not enough to, you know, get me to help her.
I took an advil about a half hour ago but it doesn't seem to be helping. I might go for two (dun dun DUN!) I'd use a heating pad but I am afraid I will fall asleep while it is heating and that's how god makes fires so no.
When did I become a person who posted about hip pain?

One of my very favorite people in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD is visiting me from Seattle! She got in on Thursday night and I had to work yesterday but when I got home we went and had yummy sushi and then maxxed and chillaxed until I couldn't keep my eyes all that open.
It is so, so wonderful to see her as her residence in Seattle and mine in Chicago mean we don't see each other a great deal.
Later this morning Peter is going to journey this way and the three of us are going to go visit my mom at the Market of Farmers and then maybe go to the Planetarium or maybe go to Bookman's Alley in Evanston.
either way, it should be a very much lovely day and I am thrilled she is here.
Another good thing! Yesterday, quite unexpectedly, I went to a champagne breakfast with the Platinum Guild of America. My boss couldn't go at the last minute and asked me if I wanted to.
YES! was my reply and so I jumped in a cab with the manager and spent two and a half hours sipping champagne (only one glass. I did have to go back to work), eating hotel buffet food and talking about platinum. It was very cool.
~~ I just took a second Advil. Boo!~~
Another another good thing! I already got my reimbursement check from my dentist appointment last week! Yay! I get 90% reimbursed (up to $500 clamatoes, but that wasn't an issue in this case) so I can just put it right back on my card. W00t. W00t.
Okay, this one is kind of silly, but my mom is now on Facebook.
Okay! I think I am feeling some of that elusive tired! I shall try to cater to it!
