Saturday! What a day!

Saturday breakfast picnics are awesome.

And today was the absolute perfect day for it.

and now I am full of Thai food and watching The Last Unicorn and we will probably get up early tomorrow and go see Patchouli at the Long Grove Art Fair even though the last time we were in Long Grove (to see Patchouli, actually) the chocolate festival was something of a disappointment.

But an art fair is hard to screw up and it's supposed to be lovely out tomorrow (as opposed to the last time when it was cold and rainy) so I am optimistic.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, too.

Qu'est ce-que c'est les oat splats?

En réalité, ce sont les oat bran biscuits, mais j'aime bien les appeler "oat splats". Just follow the recipe for muffins on the back of Quaker Oat Bran, except i don't like to mess with cleaning muffin tins, so i spoon them onto baking sheets and bake at 375 until the edges just start to brown a little. You can optionally add milled flax seed.
