It is possible that despite the insanity of my apartment at the moment and despite the franticness of my nature and despite the fact that I feel this move is rushing in WAY TOO FAST

it's possible I have something of a handle on my packing.

Mostly I have my fragile kitchen stuff and clothes left. I still need some more boxes and I need to figure out what's going to storage and what is getting pitched or sold, but I still think that come Saturday morning I'll be ready and rarin' to move.

Yay!

Of course, I just had my sister and then my mother over and between the three of us we finished a bottle of wine, but that just means I'm thinking in a non-frantic frame of mind! I win!

I'm thinking of getting rid of TV cable as I almost never watch anyway.

I'm also thinking of getting NetFlix (finally!) for the sole reason of watching the entirety of Dawson's Creek uncensored.

I blame swsa.

And, of course, Pacey.

Oh yes, and Peter and I can get some more movies in and we can finally watch The Triplets of Belleville which I think he will like quite a lot but I also think I should just bite the bullet and snag it.

BE AWARE that the music on the DVDs is apparently all changed from when they aired the series. If that makes a difference to you.

Dude! That is so irritating. And while I didn't really watch the first run I would much rather have seen it without the "Crap, we don't have the rights to these songs anymore!" filler tunes.

Oh, actually, now that I think about it, wasn't DC the pioneer for the "This episode featured music by . . . " thing the WB did?

Stupid musicians not licensing their stuff the the show that probably helped jumpstart their career.
