Is this three?

So soon?

I don't know if it counts!

But I was just at a nature center and while looking at the bird coop (chickens, roosters, turkeys and geese) a goose STUCK IT'S HEAD THROUGH A FENCE SLAT AND BIT ME ON THE KNEE!

Is the bird attack trifecta complete?

Can I no longer live in fear?

I just don't know.

Heh. I understand.

It's all somewhat absurd. =)

...Or is it the beginning of a completely separate trifecta of biting bird attacks?

*cue sinister music*

!!!

I didn't even *think* of that!

Will I spend the rest of my days in knee pads?

Under an umbrella?

Well, when I was a wee toddler a goose once bit me on the tuckus. You might want to invest in one of these.

No! My bottom is already too sticky-outy!

I will just rely on the natural padding of my behind and also the part where it is, for the most part, higher then a goose. I hope.

You're bird bait!

Have you been eating lots of poultry lately? Or done something to piss off the avian community?

I am!

I don't know *what* I could have done! I am a friend to all creatures, even if I might piss some of them off by not coming home for 24 hours. But I am almost 98% certain that Peekie doesn't have connections with the Schaumburg Nature Center Geese.

Maybe 97% sure.

I love geese, but I've always been warned that they're mean and really hurt you when they bite.

So I have to ask, did it hurt?

They ARE mean! I had named him (her?) and everything and she turned on me!

But it was really only a quick nip and more then anything, it startled me.

The Canadian Geese in Lincoln Park are crazy and will totally try to take down a family of four if their bored. I know this . . . for no particular reason. . .
