Two things!

Success! I went to DSW, returned my shoes, now I am home.
Okay, the whole thing kind of sucked, the bus was still crowded and at three-fifteen, when I was done returning/rebuying people were already getting out of the Cubs game! Two hours later! What on earth? I came up with three possible reasons:
1) It was the shortest game in the history of baseball
2) The cubs were being slaughtered quite thoroughly
3) Cubs fans have the shortest attention spans ever and can't stay longer then two hours at a game.
Any of the above means that the bus was freaking packed and that I couldn't even get one, after waiting ten minutes, so I walked over to Broadway and waited another ten minutes and got a pretty empty bus.
Then I came home and collapsed.
Which is where I am now.
The other thing!
I am going out to dinner tonight OMGYAY!!! I mean, not far and nothing rich or heavy or anything.
But to get out of the house for the evening. Even just a few hours.
Oh, it's like a dream. It's what real people do on a Saturday night. And I know I was out this afternoon and all but that is different and going out to dinner is *easy* and all I have to do is sit! And eat! And converse. And then I can come home with leftovers and that will be good, too.
I am so excited I can hardly stand it.
Yay!
