So, I'm getting a long past due physical this Thursday (well, not horrid. It's been two years. I've missed a year. I'm not *that* bad, damn it) with all the blood work involved. And I was curious.

So go and read. So very worth it. And it's not all Lemur pictures (though I did mention the feet, right?). there are fish! And bugs! And toads and crabs and bungalows and rain and so much more!

Would you believe that I've had blood drawn many times in my life, have known what tourniquets were since I read about them in a Trixie Belden in fifth grade or so, but I have never realized that the elastic thing around the arm WAS a tourniquet until I read the poll question? *snorts at self*
