Grr. Argh.
Aug. 13th, 2007 08:27 pmAny day that starts out with cat puke cleaning at 5:44 in the morning is destined to be kind of sucky.
Especially as the part where some of it was on the linoleum instead of the carpet actually made me feel joy.
Dumb cat.
Dumb, sweet, loving cat of cuteness.
Also, I felt it all morning: the rage, the blinding, hormonal rage and sorrow that come from serious PMS.
This morning sucked. I might have lost a good sale and it's [watch company's] fault, I loathe the people at [other watch company] on principle, I have ring rage. I almost cried at work. People didn't help.
But then, strangely, it got better.
I saw an amazing ring and unexpectedly came into twenty bucks - which happened to be the exact ammout of the check I wrote to Northwestern Medical this morning because apparently the health insurance I have is the "it might seem free but clearly it is not but we won't tell you that until two months *after* the doctor visit" kind. RAGE.
But also, WIN!
I also had another good sale, an appointment that went better than expected, an accidental meet up in the park with a customer I quite like and then immediately after that an accidental meet up with D who I haven't seen in an while and with whom I will be enjoying sushi in the near future.
So it ended up okay. And tomorrow I am going out for ribs with my brother which will be nice as I don't often see him when it's just the two of us and I love him and his company quite a lot.
So that is my day.
Oh! And I got Haagen Daaz Sticky Toffee Pudding ice cream because it might be terrible but I have wanted to try it for so very long. So I will.
I have decided that today is a draw.

Date: 2007-08-14 07:59 pm (UTC)Seriously, AC, I love that thing. Especially as it's the sort of thing that I would never even think to buy for myself or to try on, and it's muy fabuloso.
When I got home, one of my cats had puked on the bed. FTW!

Date: 2007-08-15 01:43 am (UTC)Mmmmm, bed puke. That's a treat.
And how cute is little D? I mean, clearly it is in his genes, but wow did he exceed expectations. I am so, so happy I got to see you and meet him. And that you got home okay. How was the flight?
