Dear Right Eye,
Why are you twitching? It has been over 24 hours on and off. THIS IS NOT COOL! You are not part of a body that is more stressed than usual, or if you are, it has yet to go beyond the subconscious. And if the body you are a part of is subsconsciously stressed, well, it's subconscious. There is nothing we can do about it. YOU ARE NOT HELPING!

Dear Ask.com,
All I want to know is why my cat eats paper. I don't want to pay for it, as it is a common enough question that YOU HAVE IT AS A FILL IN in the question field. I don't want to be linked to sites that ask for a donation (whatever I feel is appropriate!) or the Los Angeles Animal Control or THE LARGEST PAPER SUPPLIER ON THE INTERNET. I can not possibly see how that last one is in any way relevant to the question, frankly.
You fail,
AC

On allexperts.com a vet says that she's probably bored & you should get a laser pointer.
As for the eye, sometimes I get that if I'm just tired.

My eye is still twitchy. And while I am certainly tired, I am not twitchy-eye tired.
I think my alarm clock is dying, also. This makes me sad as I've had the alarm clock for something like 17 years. I don't want it to die!
Today it randomly jumped an hour. Which makes it fun when you look at the clock, after your alrm goes off, and see that it says 8:30 instead of 7:30. Really. So fun. Barrels of laughs.
Poor alarm clock. Maybe it just had a hiccup. Or maybe I sleep-changed-the-time. I've been having weird dreams lately. I wouldn't put it past me.

Date: 2007-08-04 04:37 am (UTC)Here's what I found out:
Why does a cat lick photographs or plastic bags?
It has been speculated that they are tasting the slight "odor" that emanates from these products. They may also enjoy the texture of the items on their tongue.
Why do cats like crinkly sounds?
Crinkly sounds are similar to the high-pitched noises of rodents, birds, and crickets, so the crisp, crinkly sound of a crumpled piece of paper or walking into a paper bag stimulates the cat's "prey response."
Of course the real answer may be, "Because when I make noises, my mom AC comes out to pay attention to me! Me! I love attention!!"
Peekie is wicked cute.
