Oh my ::stress:: . . .

Oh sweet Jeebus, Stress is carrying a thirteen (+) pound cat in a cardboard container through three rainy blocks of Chicago and then smuggling said cat into the apartment on the 11th floor by craftily using the freight elevator which took a million years to show up and while you are waiting someone is in the janitor's closet and you know - you just *know* - that they are about to walk out and catch you in the act and demand $250 on the spot for daring to bring a cat into the building even if it's just for a few days and by the way did I mention the thirteen+ pound cat in the cardboard carrier and the bag with all the cat-care accouterments like a brand new bag of litter which, HEAVY and did I also mention the rain-slicked streets? There are dogs out there, people!

But we made it and we're home, though I'm going out again in a wee little bit for a wee little bit.

But the moral of the story is that I have a cat in my apartment for a few days so she doesn't get trampled over the next few frantic pre-wedding days.

Tomorrow is my last day at work this week, ha ha, except, oh right. Well, okay.

So the wedding is in three days and that's exciting. And then the reception which will be more exciting. I will look like a pin up girl which is always fun and dance and make merry and trip the light fantastic and all that good stuff.

Then the wedding will be over (months and months and months of planning. Over. WOOHOO!) and I will be working six day weeks.

I have been fighting a cold for weeks and so I have scheduled an illness for the 10th of December. I can be as sick as I want then. And then on the 17th, if I want. But that's it!

Also, I woke up this morning with a lovely new zit on my chin. *grumble*

I might not be much with the updating in the next few days, but when the wedding is over I will post pics to my flickr account. If I have any. Which is a definite maybe.

Thank you! And, actually, it isn't a fine. It's a pet fee. If I have a cat in the bulding *at all* it's $250 clams and I *don't* think so. I would do it if I got my own cat, but not for just sitting. And I think maybe I am not getting sick. I was feeling like crap yesterday morning but I think I willed it away with thought, prayer, and liberal amounts of echinacea and air born. Oh, and an Advil Cold & Sinus. That's some good stuff right there. Thank you!
