Epilogue . . .

angelchickenWell, I talked to the other boss who was mortified that this had happened and was apparently on a tear. I ended up being the one who told her about this so she was pissed that no one had bothered to let her know she was short one employee. Also, she liked me and thought I was doing really well.
Mostly I was pissed because a) fired and b) when Big Boss fired me he tried to make it sound like I had not only misrepresented myself but also made demands based on said misrepresentation which is so much BULLSH*T I can't even tell you. And I said as much to the other boss. I told her that I was offended by his rudness because I told them flat out that I didn't have sales experience and I told them how much I wanted to make and they countered. Apparently in his mind this means that I lied and said I was in sales and then demanded the salary or I'd what? Not work for them? Horrors! How, exactly, was I in any position to make demands?
WHATever.
But it's nice to know that no one agrees with his decision and people are upset that I'm gone. Good. I also said that I didn't want to work for a person who didn't want me there. Because I don't.
My mom . . . well, my mom's gotten a little scary. I mean, I know she goes Mama Bear, but it's been a while since it was about me and WOW. If I actually though she might do some of the things she mentioned I might send an anonymos warning. Well, probably not, but I'd think about it.
So I'm okay. And I have a reference from Other Boss if I need it. And my mother . . . she's perfect. And Asshat can suck an egg.
