angelchickenIn case anyone is interested, there are about five or six links to the con recounts in the "JM in the Media" thread over at TWoP. I am not adding the link because of laziness. A lot of them are pretty non-judgmental which is ever so nice.
My two cents on the whole kerfuffle? He can think what he wants. And if I think he is wrong that is my prerogative. And I am willing to bet (though not much b/c I am fairly broke) that I know a hell of a lot more about the show than James. It's his job. It's my obsession.
And I agree with everyone who said that he may have been playing the "Spike is evil" card a lot more than usual b/c for all of the mature people who understand that the Spuffy relationship is so very far from perfect (aka Fucked up. But fucked up with potential, as they love each other. The totally do. THEY DO!) there are just as many "Spike is so hot and Buffy deserved to have the rape happen to her" people out there as well (see: Chicago "I've been lusting after you since I was in sixth grade" chick). And, he may have had a bad day/been tired/been beaten down by Spike on Angel backlash/ been beaten down by Spike ruined Buffy backlash. It happens.
