Random sad

angelchickenSo I just had a very unexpected flash memory of my dad cackling. Really. He had the scariest Wicked Witch cackle and it used to freak me and my sister and brother out. Possibly also my mom.
I have a very vivid memory of my dad sitting in the drivers seat of one of our cars while we begged him to cackle and he would say no, no, no but then he would and we would all shreik and it was so funny and terrifying in a good way and we'd ask him to do it again.
It has been over 13 years since he has cackled like that. Probably even longer. And suddenly I miss him very much.
*le sigh*
