Foods I have eaten today.
Jan. 27th, 2006 08:24 pmNo, really, I made a list.
- spinach salad (baby spinach, gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, dried cranberries, basalmic vinaigrette) (my contribution)
- three chicken nuggets
- a sesame squagel (square bagel, for those not in the know) half with cream cheese, half with butter and strawberry jam
- fruit (strawberries and cantaloupe)
- small - though not mini - eclair
- lo mien
- pineapple salsa with corn chips
- decadent cake with nuts of some sort
- small ball of mozzarella
- one rib (how biblical!)
- bowl of wheat chex
- two chocolate chunk cookies (made by me)
- one sugar/jelly cookie (linzer?) (also made by me)
- slice of cheesecake
- slice of tiramasu cake
- 1.5+ quarts of water
- one glass of white grape/peach juice
- one lemon iced tea snapple
- two cups coffee
I think maybe tomorrow I'll take a nice long walk. Today is obviously out, as I can't actually move from the food coma.
We had a table party today because we are doing a lab-wide seat change next week. On the plus side, my portions were pretty small. On the minus side, look at that list!
There is one Borough I have never visited, except by accident, I think, possibly because I was on a bus that was traveling through the borough and I was kind of drunk at the time anyway and it didn't really take. Maybe tomorrow I'll visit that borough. Maybe I'll walk to the borough. I mean, walking through the river has got to be some excellent exercise.
Though, I'm kind of proud of my failure to acknowledge said borough as a borough up to this point and I'm not sure I'm ready to sully that. Of course, this all hinges on my being able to move at all over the weekend. Which, at this point, I'm thinking 50/50.

OH! The other thing! I think I am in the process of changing e-mails. AOL and Mac, happy bedfellows, they are not. And paying a fortune for AOL is really, really dumb. Especially when you can't do anything because it doesn't play nice with your browser. So if you get odd e-mails or send e-mails and I don't get them, that'd be why.

Week has been mostly crappy, save for the food orgy of today. Haven't seen boy in two weeks. Probably won't see him for two weeks. Had tummy problems (which probably wasn't helped at all by my gluttony) and my sister was sick. And my mom had some things going on with her. As did boy. Feh. It's almost a new month! And it's the weekend! And I might go on a boat tomorrow! A *free* boat!

Date: 2006-01-28 02:18 am (UTC)Do you need a gmail address?
I've always wanted to go walk around Roosevelt Island. I think it's because I saw the trams so often as a kid when my mom would drive over the bridge.

Date: 2006-01-28 03:49 am (UTC)Actually, maybe I'll do Roosevelt Island tomorrow, instead, though I won't walk there as the SI fairy is significantly closer than the tram.
I already have gmail, but thank you, m'dear! annie [dot] kimball [at] gmail [dot] com
