Jan. 22nd, 2006 01:00 pmOy, I am so behind! And I might just give up on the capitol letters as the shift key at this internet cafe is the bad and all lowercase, while mildly annoying is better than aggressive all caps. i don't need to be yelling my past at y'all.
last night i had a dream that was part queer as folk(us) and part hedwig. possibly this has to do with the save glam rock benefit i went to last night. by the way, it was fabulous and i am so freaking old!!!
wonderful thing about living in brooklyn? i caught a cab from the knitting factory - which is in tribeca - and i was home in less than ten minutes. oh it was wonderful. especially as the show didn't start until 11 and the group we wanted to see - semiprecious weapons, who were excellent, by the way - ended a bit before two. and that is way past my bedtime.
hmmm, lesse. i have time warner coming on tuesday, so only two more hellish days of suffering and heartache. yay! and vh1 obviously loves me as they are running an i love the eighties marathon today which means i have a way to pass the time.
seriously: what the hell did i do before i had the internet? i have no idea. it's crazy, yo.
hey! i just realized that the right shift key is working. unfortunately using the right shift key is something that is so foreign to me that the though of using it is more traumatizing than not using caps. hey! how about a poll?
[Poll #657656]
finally, i am so sorry because i have been able to skim my flist a bit and i know there is much i am behind on: birthdays, life stuff, fic, etc and i want to comment on everything but i can't at the moment because i have 33 minutes before my time is up and i have much still to do before i go back and watch vh1 and make chicken and new potatoes and string beans. mmmmmmmm.
i also have a plan to work on something, mostly for me, and i don't need the internet to do it (it's computer based) so i might work on that whilst watching the telly. it's kind of a big undertaking and i don't know if i'll follow through, but maybe i will and maybe this is the thing to do on this lazy sunday afternoon./elusive
and i guess i could do homework. maybe. ergh. i am so uninspired to do homework. i have to finish this freaking gg. i have to finish it soon, lest i lose my mind. but it is so freaking involved and i need to, you know, think. and who wants to do that?
MWAH! i miss you all terribly. but the upside: look at how much there is to look forward to when i get my internets back!

And alas, I could not vote in the poll, because while I use both shift keys, I do not use them "indiscriminately". I use whichever one is opposite the key that I am, erm, shifting. Like they taught us in high school typing classes? Do they still have high school typing classes?

Date: 2006-01-24 08:07 pm (UTC)Dude, you use the style of shifting that you were taught? Really? I am so impressed! I just think that anyone that uses both of the shift keys is so talented because I only use the right. I will manipulate my fingers, if need be. Because I am a typing tool. Don't ask how many fingers I use. My typing teacher would weep.
