Today there was obscene heat. So I went to Barnes & Noble on the way home to make it less hot and also because I had to pee.

In the EW movie guide I read that tere is a movie coming out, "Jarhead", with Jake Whatsithaal.

Anyway, it seemed interesting and since I know very little about Desert Storm I thought I would pick it up. But first I read the first few chapters sitting on thre B&N floor because OMGHOT!!!

It seems good, though crude. Anyone know anything about it?

It got great reviews. I think it's more about life as a Marine in general than simply Desert Storm, but I could be wrong.

Possibly I was distracted from his hotness by his annoying name? Did you see his photo spread in EW when promoting The Day After Tomorrow? I think that was when I realized maybe it was time to look beyond the name.
