Monday is over and I talked to my mom and she said she would get me rollerblades and knee/wrist guards and I am all excited! Yay! I wanna blade in Central Park! And Prospect Park! sodanyc, I blame you. :)

So I was pretty sure I was going to get "The Incredibles" and a backpack as my gift to me, but now I'm thinking maybe I should get the X-files. Or possibly Angel s2. And I completely forgot about 'Firefly' which must have been a temporary mental block as Serenity has been the buzz of lj (well, my corner, in any case) lo these many weeks.

Dude, it looks like it's going to storm like a mofo which is a shame, really, because I feel there isn't enough jackhammering in my life and if it downpours the crew outside my window will have to stop. Darn. *tears out hair*

Also, how thankful am I that I don't have massive allergies? It has been snowing pollen for the last week or so. I haven't seen it this bad in years. Rain might help on that front, too. Hmmm.

For the first time this year I have my fan on. And last night I didn't sleep under my comforter, only a blanket. Hello Summer!

And now there is rain and thunder and lightning. And no jackhammering. Woo!

eta: Dammit! The jackhammering is back! Curse you, Department of Whomever Fixes the Roads and your ambitious jackhammerers. I bet they have ear plugs.

Eeee, rollerblading! Dude, it's awesome! As is blading in the parks. It does take awhile to get used to, I think, but once you do, it's so very, very good:)
