Good-bye Yellow Br- errr, Bell Boulevard

I'm packed. Well, mostly packed. There are a few odds and ends still to do, but mostly, I'm packed. My whole life, in a pile of boxes, against the far wall of my apartment.
Dude. How weird.
I'm really going to miss this place. It's all . . . empty.
Don't get me wrong, I'm wildly excited about my new place, but *wow* change.
I've never been good at change. And I have a tendency to grow unhealthily attached to inanimate objects. Like, say, apartments.
It's sad, yo.
I feel like I should go to every store that I have ever been to in Bayside and say good-bye. Like the guys at the bagel shop that I think is called Water Bagel (in five years I've never actually figured it out) who know me. Or the girls at the bakery. Or the cashiers at the Green Market.
::sniffle::
Okay. Done for the 'mo.

Poor Svetlana: always a bride's maid, never a bride.
Fortunately, she definitely has a promising career in being a Mistress of Pain. She is ueberflexible and she constantly has that "I will hurt you and you will like it" look to her.
Speaking of "Beg me to hurt you", how about that swimmer from Trinidad and Tobago? Jeez. I saw him and instantly wanted to drop to my knees before him with a leather collar and lead in my mouth, my hands obediently behind my back.
Wow. I mean, wow. *bites knuckle*
Go, Carly! I'm sorry I missed your floor routine, but you kicked ass on the beam and I am all pleased for you. I'm so sorry, though, that Katie Couric forced Mary Lou Retton on you this morning. Wow, that was awkward.
I will be without internet for the next few days (I feel I am getting the DTs already) as I won't have a phone hook up until Monday. Which gives me two days to find a jack in my apartment.
Please pray I find a jack. If not, then I will have to have Verizon install one to the tune of $208. Grr. I also have to take an unpaid day off on Monday to sit on my ass and wait for the Verizon guy to show up. Double grr. But at least I can unpack. And even though I won't have cable until next weekend I can watch movies and DVDs and stuff. You know, if I actually get around to setting up my TV.
Moving's hard, yo.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and that the movers are good and that the humidity ceases in time for the mass unpacking.
