angelchickenI am really, really upset about tomorrow being the final Buffy. Really upset. Living in a state of denial upset. I have no clue how I am going to actually work tomorrow (or Wednesday, for that matter as I will not only be emotionally exhausted, but physically as well as I plan on staying up very late chatting as I will need the support).
I wanted to do al sorts of wonderful things to commemorate my love of Buffy. I had lists and meme's and all these ideas, but I just couldn't do them because I still can't believe that tomorrow is the last episode.
Also- how fast is this year going? I am a bit stunned by that as well. It is already May 20th (well, in two hours)! Yeesh! Time flies, blah, blah, blah.
Well, since I am thinking of it . Warning- this is very, very long. I couldn't stop.
- "Fool for Love" One of my absolute favorite eps. Subway Spike is absolutely divine. The entire end scene with Spike showing Buffy how he killed Nikki is incredible. And I loved the Chaos demon. Such a Frat boy!
- The slo-mo shots from "The Pack", FfL, and BB&B. Gah, Guh, and Hee!
- Fish stick theatre (especially when Xander ends his reenactment by making the sticks bow and say "scene". HA! Riveting.
- The introduction of Spike and Dru. Especially the almost kiss that ends with the two of them looking over at the anointed one. Sexy like something really sexy. So hot.
- Spike and Dru. I love 99.9% of Spike. I loved when he was evil and running Sunnydale. I love how he worshiped Dru ("My black Goddess, My Ripe Wicked Plum". Dear God, Spike is the reason cold showers were invented) and how he had so much fun being bad.
- Xander and Cordy. I love how Cordy liked him despite her better judgment. I love Xander reassuring her that they can still fight in front of her friends at the end of BB&B.
- Buffy talking to Giles and Angel (I'm sixteen. I don't want to die" in "Prophecy Girl". I have only seen that ep a few times because it is so painful.
- Ditto "Passions". I can't watch that ep because it is so heartbreaking seeing Giles walk into his flat and knowing that Jenny is upstairs dead. Christ. Angelus killing Jenny is also one of the more chilling scenes from Buffy.
- Perkey Buffy Singing Macho Man in "The Witch"
- Door Sex
- "Tell me you love me"
"I love you. You know I do"
"Tell me you want me"
"I always want you. . ."
- Willow Kissage
- "Bunnies! Bunnies! It must be Bunnies!"
- The eye crawl during Rest in Peace and the beginning of the song when he looks over at Buffy when he hums.
- "Saucy eggs"
- Anya's speech in "The Body"
- Tara and Giles' duet in OM, WF
- Spike's dream in OoMM
- Every Spike and Buffy moment in "Something Blue" I can not stop giggling every time I watch it.
- Giles talking about the "tiny, tiny babies" in WAY
- Faith as Buffy and Buffy as Faith in WAY. Especially the sexy Spike scene. "I could ride you at a gallop until your knees buckled and your eyes rolled back"
- "Oh, you have been away"
- Hush
- The merging spell in "Primeval"
- Conversations with Dead People. Especially the scary-ass Dawn parts and the sweet Spike parts that end up creepily.
- "I believe in you Spike"
- First Evil Spike.
- First Evil Buffy
- "That troll is doing an Olaf impersonation!"
- "Let's throw fruits and various meat products at it!"
- "Spike, are you okay?"
"I am"
- "Every night I save you"
- Kitten poker
- The end of "Forever" when Buffy and Dawn are sobbing on the floor in front of the open door. And the fight leading up to it. Heartbreaking and creepy.
- Giles listening to 'Brave Ulysses' in "Forever"
- "Band Candy"
- "The Gift", especially the end with Buffy's speech, Beck's score, and the reaction shots (Spike makes me cry).
- The Mayor
- Angel biting Buffy.
- The end of "Smashed". And Spike threatening "Mr. Fett".
- Spike and Dru in the Bronze in "Crush".
- Buffy dancing with Xander in WSWB. And the end of that ep when Xander and Willow are still her friends.
- The Yellow Crayon speech.
- "You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, you'll shag, you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. - Willow telling Buffy she's staying in Sunnydale
