Thank you, Friends List! You have confirmed that what I really want for my birthday is Buffy S6 and Storm Front. So, come my day of birth, I shall be ordering both of them (being that I have a card from my mumsey sitting and mocking me - why exactly did she send it two weeks early? - and in that card is my prezzie, probably cash. Or a check. Most likely a check. Or nothing but mockery). I'm all a-twitter.

And I get to work on Saturday!!!!! Somewhere inside of me there is an eighteen year old rending her clothing and sobbing "Why, God? Why" for the adult I have become. Because, in all honesty, I can't freaking wait to work on Saturday. Sure I have to get up at five. And yeah, I'll have about an hour to kill when I get to the city (and I still believe, with full confidence, that the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington branch would be a much happier rail line if they conformed to fit my schedule), but dude. Time and a half. Maybe even double time. That's, like, an entire extra day of pay in my check for five hours of work.

Screw you, inner eighteen year old. How many bills did you have to pay?

Now I am off to read Insomnia which I am plowing through (not hard to do. It's like literary candy, thank you Mr. King. You'll be getting my metaphorical dental bill). Engrossing read. Also in book form which is, in all honesty, easier to maneuver than a lap top.

Maybe when I finish this I'll be brave enough to reread IT. It is the summer (more daylight).
