Are they stupid or is it me?
May. 15th, 2003 11:07 amI have heard a lot of people saying "Gosh. I don't think we are going to have a Spring this year. Go straight from Winter to Summer. Shame, I love Spring" or some variation on that. Essentially they are saying that there is not going to be Spring this year.
So what are we in now?
-mid May. Check
-Average temperature in the sixties. Check
-Lots of rain. Check
-Budding flowers and trees. Check
-Sudden explosion of green. Check
-Been consistent for about three weeks or so. Check
So, am I wrong here? Seems like Spring to me. Is it just habit from those people who are used to New York going from 30 to 90 degrees in the matter of a week? Are they incapable of noticing the Spring-like weather (that usually indicates . . . Spring) or are they just really, really stupid?
I want to know. Really I do. I'm seeing Spring.

It's been very springlike here, even though we don't get the EXTREMES of seasonry that NYC gets. Still, cooler, slightly less rainy? Spring.
