Words to cheer by, let me tell you.

God, it feels good to be thought of as the best. I think I will liken myself to Maverick, or maybe Ice Man. Not Goose, though, even though he's sweet, because he dies. And I'd rather that not happen for a good long while.

I am so, so happy at GIA. So happy. And I think that this job is a wonderful fit.

*happy sigh*

The benefits rock, and I can start working on my GG in a few weeks and I know and understand the stuff we are doing and I think I can truly kick ass and take names. According to the chick from HR (whom I lurve. Sweetest. Person. Ever) one person that she know of finished his GG course in just a year.

I want to be the second.

When I get my GG I get an almost $2000 raise and become a staff Gemologist. And the goal in grading is to consistently grade 20+ diamonds a day with an 80% accuracy or higher.

My goals are set.

Then only downside I can think of is that I don't have internet access (boo!) and I don't have a phone (Boo times two!)

But dude, I am really, really thrilled.

And hungry.
