My Wee little brother just called (Okay, he's 22. Not so wee. But he's my little brother, so I can call him wee if I want to!) to congratulate me on my new job! He's such a pud! We don't talk much - he's a junior in college and is all BMoC with the frat (he was born to be a frat boy) and the women and all, but that's okay. I never talked to my sister while either of us were in college, but now we talk all the time. It's the age, I believe.

But we do call for events. Like when good or bad things happen, we are there for each other and let each other know we love everyone and all. It's always nice to talk to him, even if the conversations are only ten minutes long. I love him so much.

On a completely different note, can somebody provide the artists for the following songs. I can't find them and I am far too lazy to go through my CD's or search the web. And some of them I know I know, but I am having a major brain block and can't freaking remember. Le sigh.

Thank you so much in advance! The songs are:

- Coconut (From the Reservoir Dogs soundtrack)
- Da Dip
- Get Down Tonight
- Hooked on a Feeling
- Let Me Clear My Throat
- Little Green Bag
- Lollipop
- Money (That’s what I Want) (Remake from the 80's. On the Wedding Singer soundtrack!)
- Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head
- Stand By Me
- Tainted Love
- Turn! Turn! Turn!
- Venus (Also 80's chick version. Possibly Bananarama?)

"Hooked on a Feeling" is by Blue Swede.

"Tained Love" is by Soft Cell.

"Venus" is indeed by Bananarama.

"Stand By Me" is by Ben. E. King.

Turn!Turn!Turn! - The Byrds
Money - Flying Lizards
Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head - BJ Thomas

guesses
Get Down Tonight - I can hear 2 different songs with this lyric - one is KC and the Sunshine Band and the other is Kool and the Gang
Lollipop - is this sung by a man or woman? And is it in a reggae or ska style?

If the Turn Turn Turn you want is the one that starts "To everything turn turn turn there is a season...", then the artist is The Byrds. The Money remake from the Wedding Singer is by the Flying Lizards. Coconut - Harry Nilsson. Yay!

I see Rocknrollgidget is aptly named. ;) And she's quick, too.
