Okay. I was in an elevator a few months ago -point of fact, I was in an elevator just today. In the past five years many of my days have involved elevators. But that's besides the point - but I digress. On this specific occasion I was in an elevator and I saw a bad. A bag that I must have. I have been looking for a new purse for decades, and by decades I mean months. Possibly years. And the woman had the bag I want. But, in a cruel twist of fate, I noticed the bag as she was getting off the elevator and wasn't able to inquire about it's origins.
*sigh*
So. The bag. It's black, and on the side it has Cockney Rhyming Slang as well as examples like, Dust Bin Lids= Kids and Apples and Pears = stairs (I think).
I want this bag.
Is this even remotely familiar to anyone? Anyone know where I might find it? It would make me ever so happy to possess it right this second, but I haven't a clue where to find it. And, in case you were curious, googling "Cockney Rhyming Slang" is an excellent way to find about two billion on line dictionaries, but very difficult to find very specific accessories.
So, if anyone knows, and can give me a heads up, I would be most appreciative. Most appreciative.

There is a book, and by extension, a movie (TV movie, I think) called A Christmas Memory, by Truman Capote. I watched the movie with my mom once, and truly enjoyed it. But the one thing I remember best is that the grandmother was very suspicious and never got out of bed on the thirteenth of the month.
I wish I was that grandmother.
Though, I would get out of bed if it meant getting my Cockney Rhyming Slang bag.
A girl can dream.
