Happy New Year!
Jan. 1st, 2004 04:39 pmWell, if today is any indication, then 2004 will be the year of sloth.
I was up 'til four in the morning, and sadly not because I was partying like it was on sale for $19.99 or because I was bedding young virile men whose only desire was to pleasure me.
*sigh*
No, I was up because after a very nice, low key celebration at a bar called Bar (on Smith street, for those who are curious) then, because I had gorged myself on Thai food (so good), left at around 12:30 to head home. I got home around two-ish and read Maxim for a while. Then, when I was about to go to sleep, I was hit with a double whammy of panic attack and acid reflux. I'd like to think this was probably because I ate far too much spicy food and fried ice cream at ten o'clock at night and not some horrible foreshadowing of the year to come.
Fortunately, VH1 is running and I Love the 80s marathon (both the original and Strikes Back!) so my sloth is happily enabled. I will never not watch I love the 80s, especially the latter ones because, dude, that was my time. I was ten in '86 and everything makes me squeal with memory.
I hope everyone had a wonderful night and have a great day (or days) off.
Oh my god! Pound Puppies!!!
