angelchickenAt five o'clock yesterday evening, whilst I was shutting down the office and preparing for the weekend, I noticed Dina, evil bitch monster of death, doing stuff that indicated she wasn't going to be in on, at least, Monday. As it turns out, she won't be in Monday or Tuesday, so I don't have to see her until the 29th! No temper tantrums! No condescending remarks! No general c*ntiness!
Thank you, Santa! It's just what I always wanted!
In other news, my master Saturday morning plan has come to fruition. I wok up around eightish and did the shower/make bed/ get dressed thing and then moseyed on down to Blockbuster so I could return the DVD's that were late, late, late. Then, anticipating today being a busy grooming day for the populous at large, I went to the nail salon (the one I always go to, except for when I go the the other on I always go to) and got my self waxed and cured - both mani & pedi. I now have slightly sparkley red polish on my fingers and toes! And now, I will probably go back to sleep. Then wake and conquer technology by figuring out how to burn CD's. I think I'm almost there. Can you use a RealOne player to burn CD's?
And finally, last night I spent the evening with Miss Nauti and Dr. Love and it was good. Love's exhibiting some stuff at a nifty Anime-type store in SoHo so I![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lovebytez and nautibitz and a bunch of their friends there (including lil_fatty!)Good times had by all. There were wonderful little toys and yummy Malaysian food and much fun! And, en route to SoHo I realized that the one thing that would make my life complete is Smog Liquid Liner by Urban Decay.
My life is now complete.
Sephora truly is like cosmetic crack. I went in because I had a gift card and so I thought I'd browse, but I ended up there for 45 minutes! I couldn't leave! You can try. on. make-up! You can play! I had gold eyeshadow and the aforementioned liquid liner and a glittery lip gloss that I couldn't, for the life of me, remove! And the store on Fifth Avenue was way too crowded and I didn't want to wait in line. But what did I pass upon entering SoHo? That's right. Another store. And it was much less crowded, hence the completion of my life.
I'm getting S5 Buffy DVD for Christmas! Yay!

And yes, you can totally use RealOne to burn a CD - it's easy like pie, just click the little CD icon at the bottom of your media browser and away you go....
