So, you know how yesterday I did the whole "Not get out of my jams or even my bed" thing (well, I did take a shower at about 9:45 last night)?

Today would be the opposite of that.

I was so freaking productive I can hardly stand it. Last night, after I showered, I changed my sheets (isn't sliding into a made bed with fresh, clean sheets, like, the best thing ever?) and it was good. I read a bit of By Rook or By Crook by Eurydice, and I have to say it's quite the AU treat. Spike as a Forties Dick in Manhattan, Angel the son of a Crime boss (The Mayor, they call him) and lots and lots of Spuffy. Yay! I think I'll read more tonight.

Anyhoo, I woke up at around eight this morning and looked outside to see snow. Huh. And despite that, I still got out of bed, dressed myself, like the big girls do, and hauled my dirties to the laundromat. The good thing about doing laundry at 8:30 in the morning is that it is completely done by eleven. Washed, dried, folded, put away. Whee! At the laundromat I learned that we captured a cretain someone who has nothing to do with the war on terrorism but is still a bad, bad man, so bully for us! I'm still not voting for you, Bush.

Then they played Matilda. It was faboo. I watched it and read EW and then went home and continued to watch it because I admit it. I was sucked in.

After putting away my laundry I made a yummy brecky and then got a wonderful call from Dr. C, my psychologist when I was in high school. I went to him for three years and utterly adored him and after he moved (he was blind and didn't live in the best part of Maryland, so he went to Denver. He's not in Santa Fe) he kept in touch with my mom. He called to wish me a happy holiday season, and it was so, so nice to hear for him. He really is so, so wonderful, and was especially great when my dad died.

Anyway, ate then cleaned! Scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned my "room" area (ahh, the joys of a studio), did dishes and more. Then I went grocery shopping before the snow turned to rain. After that I came home and watched The Two Towers while first rolling coins ($43.00 in pennies, nickels and dimes) and then I put all of my addresses that a scattered all willy-nilly into one address book.

What are the two towers? Are they Helms Deep? Or where Sorononoskazjdh (I can't remember his name) was? I just couldn't figure it out. Still. Again. Always.

These LotR movies are just so confusing, someone should write a book. Make it all make sense. :)

Finally, I made soup. And *not* out of a can. I used three cans of broth (2 chicken, one veggie) and then three cans of water and I boiled chicken breast (including the bones) and potatoes with some spices. Then I added peppers and onion and garlic and mushrooms and some salt. Then, after it simmered a bit, I added zucchini, and spinach and white kidney beans and tomatoes and some fresh basil and simmered some more. Poured it over some cubed munster cheese and added some home made (not by me) croutons and voila! A tasty meal that'll last the week. And tonight, QaF! Hurray!

That's all. I am pleased with my productivity. It's been a faboo weekend!

Yeah, when I read the book, I generally thought that they were Rohan and Gondor, and then when I saw the movie, I realized it could be the other way around too. But yeah, I found that a tounch confusing.

Oh, dude, I'm so addicted to this fic. It's just great, and absolutely *everyone* shows up. How far along are you? Actually, in general, I love everything by eurydice. She gives great Spuffy, and she updates so frequently. She's generally my lunchtime reading.

Buffy and Spike just had lunch and stopped a robbery. I love it! And I loved her Rhapsody in Oil! She rocks!
