I am seriousy upset about this. Not just that Dina didn't tell me about it, but that her boss, Melanie, didn't tell me about it either. This worries me, because what the HELL has Dina been telling Melanie about me that she agrees with keeping the party from me?

And I am too fucking chicken-shit to even talk to Melanie.

Well, not any more. If they fire me, they fire me, but I want some fucking fantastic grounds for it. I am not going to sit back and let Dina shit all over me because she doesn't like me. Maybe if she was a better boss and actually explained things to me then I wouldn't fuck them up.

AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I can't even think of anything else, now.

I am fucking furious. And I feel like I could cry. This is so completely and totally wrong on every level.

And the clients love me. And really, what's more important to the big boss than HAPPY FUCKING CLIENTS!!!!!!

That's fucking ridiculous. You're totally right to be this furious. Gah!

This really is ridiculous. You have every right to be pissed and upset. Grr, man. If I were closer, I'd be kicking their asses right now.

*big big hugs*

Your boss is so desperate and pathetic--it must suck to be her. I know you feel like it sucks to be you right now, but just think how lousy it would be to be such a miserable little pissant that you'd do things like lie to your employee about the company Christmas party.

Offhand, I can't think of anything more pathetic.

I know I'm late to the hatefest, but I concur with the venom everyone has spewed on your behalf. Besides being unbelievably rude, I am wondering if the company has any sort of party policy... this is showing up on my Violates Company Policy radar. My gut says the company would not approve of your boss's behavior if they were made aware of it... like a little note to HR or something. If the party is company-sanctioned, and on company time, I don't see how they can specifically keep people out of it (unless they're on a different team or something). Otherwise, I'm thinking it's discrimination, and your boss could get into trouble for it. If you're in the mood to make your boss's life difficult, you would probably have grounds.
