When Lucy and Carter got stabbed on ER. Not the fact they got stabbed, mind you. I was all upset about that, but the way the scene was shot when Carter fell and ended up looking under the bed and suddenly saw his view of Lucy, on the ground, gasping for breath. Christ, that scene is still with me, and I don't even watch ER anymore.

And the freaking music (Nine Inch Nails, I believe. Or something very similar). So, so well done.

ETA: Why does the postman always ring twice?

I remember that scene. It was so awful. I know it's just a show, but I kept feeling like, "This can't be happening. This is not happening." I couldn't believe she died.

Oh, I remember that. Was it really that long ago? I was (not intentionally) so spoiler free for ER I had NO IDEA they were killing off Lucy. It was really sad.

The song was by Lo-Fidelity All-Stars (remember them?). I had that CD, and from the second that episode ended, I was unable to listen to that song the same way. I agree - that scene is still with me, too.
