Bored. A five letter word that fully encompasses how I feel this afternoon. I don't feel like reading. Or writing. Or watching DVD's. Or doing dishes. Or making lunch for the week (or, hell, even today). Or cleaning. Or anything.

I am bored. So I spam.

I went grocery shopping. I spent $60.00 on a weeks worth of food. Ugh. I didn't mean to do that. But, I justify to myself: But! If I was not going grocery shopping I would easily spend $50.00 on coffee and lunch for only five days of the week, so I am actually saving money. And besides, it's Christmas. I have to get eggnog.

Stupid money. I have easily put $1000.00 on my Visa this month (though remember, I had to buy a new muffler, and rent a hotel room and make my way across the country, which was pretty pricey) but still. I have no. Clue. how I am going to pay that down, not to mention the balance that was already there and the Discover card. Grr. I hate debt.

I know, I know, don't use the credit cards, but if I didn't then I woudn't be able to afford things like, well, food. Cash goes to bills. Credit goes to food. Which then raises the amount of the bills. It's a vicious, vicious cycle.

In other news, New York got over a foot of snow in the last 48 hours. Interesting fact: It's called a foot because your foot is what suffers when you go traipsing out in it without the proper footwear. Snow in your shoes? Cold. Hence, a foot. A little higher and we would have had a knee of snow.

I amuse myself.

Okay then. Go read my fic! It is Spike/Xander and it's, well, I don't know. Maybe it sucks. But wouldn't you want to find out for your self? I have two and a half parts up and you can find them earlier in my lj. But I will be a Mensch and post them here too:

Part 1: Background
Part 2: The Beach & Part 3a: The Club

Read, embrace, enjoy (or not, up to you).

Guh. I think I will find the 24 hours of Christmas carols station and set to ork on kitchen stuff. At least then I could say it was done. If I had a cat (or dog) I could just lie in bed all day petting him or her. That sounds really nice.

Tomorrow would have been my parents thirtieth wedding anniversary. I miss my dad.

A Duncan Donuts truck just tore by blasting it's horn. "Out of my way! I've got a donut emergency!!!"

New (to me) QaF tonight! Yay! But I do wish I had 3.8. I reeeeeealy wanted to see that ep.

Hmmm. I think that my mom claims it's 102.7 FM, although I'm not positive. I don't listen to the radio except as my alarm clock, and I only pick unpleasant stations so that I can wake up.

This is how I feel all the time. A few years back we even had to use credit cards to pay our rent. It was that bad. Now it will probably be either bankruptcy or one of those AmeriDebt type thingies, because it just keeps getting worse and worse and worse.

Learn from our mistake and don't get quite as far in the hole as we are. I won't mention the figure, but suffice it to say it far exceeds all our student loan debts.

The "knee of snow" thing really made me laugh.

Thanks for the Spander, I will go read that.

I am trying so, so hard to avoid digging myself even deeper into debt, but it just feels like a losing battle. I, fortunately, don't have student loans to deal with, but I do pay health insurance out of pocket and that hurts. I am so, so glad I am took my car off the road.

And I have been know to take cash out on my credit card to pay my credit card. It sucks.

I'm glad I could make you laugh. I have kind of been giggling to myself over that all day. Hee!
