I was just going through my old saved e-mail looking for addresses of people I wanted to Christmas card, and I found this e-mail. Apparently I wrote something at TWoP and people responded and I wish I had a clue as to what it was. Huh. I wonder why I saved it.

Subj: your post at twop...

Hi. I lurk at TWoP sometimes.

I saw your post. A lot of people replied with questions and stuff. I don't know if they were all serious, but it might be nice for you to go answer them.

I'm sure some of them are joking, but some want real answers, I think.

Thank you!

That's from Fox1013, isn't it?

That's from Fox, yes. It's weird as hell that she'd use the phrase "I lurk at TWoP sometimes" considering she was a top ten poster from before the site existed until awhile after she was banned in September 2002. A quick read of her journal on June 21, 2002 yields the following:

I highly recomment people go read Nal's LJ, because she copied the best post from TWoP. Seriously. It's the best post ever, in the history of TWoP. Possibly with the history of MBTV and Dawson's Wrap included. Posisbly in the history of the internet. Posisbly the WORLD. [/Angela Chase]

"Nal" refers to [livejournal.com profile] burgundydru, but of course that journal is deleted, so that's no help. Would [livejournal.com profile] sneezydove remember after all this time?

Wait, wait, I'm having a memory. Is "exceslateverything@yahoo.com" you? Or were you CC'd or BCC'd or forwarded this message? Because I'm thinking excelsateverything was that weird guy who started a new thread about... something. Vampires are real, maybe? Something like that. It's very fuzzy. But it was funny as hell. Tell me you remember this.

Yeah, the more I think about this, the more I'm sure of it. The guy used some very imperial-sounding name like Constantine, except it was in some small way misspelled. He started a thread about how vampires were real and Buffy totally misrepresented them, and he either claimed that he *was* a vampire, or that he knew some. He mentioned a lot of celebrities and historical figures who were vampires. And lots of people, regular posters mainly, jumped in and asked him questions about it, suggested other celebrities who might be vampires, and it went on for like a day and a half before the mods finally squashed it. I'm sure I'm still leaving out a lot of important parts. But "excelsateverything" was surely that guy. I'm confident about that much.

Sounds to me like that might have been Fox forwarding you something that someone had emailed her.

*squints*

This is confusing.

Cause that's my E-Mail address, alright. But I don't sign ANYTHING with Alexia.

*squints more*

Huh.

Sorry about the confusion. I feel much better now!
