Happy New Year (a few days late)
Jan. 13th, 2003 01:28 pmHappy New Year, everyone! I have been the blinvisible girl for so long I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing (I am on my computer at work. The first time that I have used the 'puter for personal use. I am such a rebel!). But I am doing okay. New York is freakin' cold and I really want to be back in Florida, where I spent the New Year (Florida= warm = very, very good. New York = COLD= very, very bad. Why do I live here again?).
Florida was awesome. We went to the beach all the freaking time and I actually got a tan! Or, well, I got color so instead of looking like the receintly deceased, I look normal. Go me. We stayed at a resort on A1A so my sister and I spent the whole week singing "A1A, Beachfront Avenue! Girls were hot wearing less than bikinis. Rockin' lovers driving Lambourginis!" (and I can't for the life of me spell that car. Stupid car names). So I bestow Vanilla Ice on all of you. It might never leave your head.
And one small rant. I hate AOL. Really. It's late at night, I am putzing around on the internet and it not only closes on me, I have to reinstall the freaking software. What's that about? I installed it already. I have the access! Why, dear Lord, Why? must I reinstall the software? AOL is the Devil.
And I saw The Hours last night. Very good, but sad. Nicole Kidman is excellent, and I love Julianne Moore. She is one of my faves. And *gasp* I even liked Clare Danes, who, in the past, I only liked as Angela, and that was kind of barely. I much preferred Krackaur and Reaanne (two more names I can't spell. Sigh).
So I hope everyone is a-okay. Tonight, I hope, I will be able to actually catch up on my friends list some and I can see what's new with you. Hopefully I won't be quite as blinvisible this year, but I don't know for sure as I start new classes sometime in the near future (I regester this week. I figure I will find out when classes start then. I hope).
