Happy Friday everybody!

So. Since It has been a few years since I have been a full time student, I haven't really been thinking a lot about grades. Yes, I have been taking classes, but not really the end results. So when I got an A in my "Teaching Reading, Writing And Language Arts" class it was a happy surprise as I forgot that I was getting a grade in the class.

And again, I forgot.

So, when I got home last night and there was a Bank Street envelope in my mailbox I had an "Oh Shit" moment. Especially since I turned in two of my papers realllllllly late (like after the classes were over) and I spent very little time on my final project.

But I got an A-. Wheeeee! I like this being smart stuff! I now have a 3.9 GPA. I have never. In my entire life. Had a 3.9 GPA. It is kind of a shame that I didn't get a solid 'A' to maintain my 4.0, but I am seriously pleased with my 3.9. I was squeeing a lot last night.

Huh. Suddenly I am a student. Nifty. Now where were these smarts when I was in school for sixteen years?
