Accutane: Week 2

Pretty much the same as week one.
I'm still dry, dry, dry and I have noticed that the inside of my nose is often painfully dry and very tender. The outside is also what is showing the most dryness and possibly I am less oily. I am still breaking out, but I think they might not be quite as big or long and I feel like some of the scaring is clearing up.
What I need to find, now, is a really good facial moisturizer. I have been using Oil of Olay oil-free for many years, on and off, but I feel like it's not helping at all. I am putting on lotion right after I get out of the shower and then another layer five minutes later and it stings. Boo!
I also am reacting badly to white gold, I think because of the accutane. I have a wg ring and I think it is giving me a rash on my finger. I took it off about a week ago and it is healing, but slowly. And I put a silver ring on the first time I thought it was healed but it just got bad again.
The wg thing doesn't necessarily surprise me- a lot of people are mildly allergic to nickel, which is what makes the white gold white - but it is a bummer as the ring is new and I haven't actually paid it off yet.
So, there's that.

HAPPY EASTER, my friends!
I just got back from Easter lunch at my mom's and it was, of course, amazing. I have so much fun with my family and I *know* how lucky I am for it. I was there with my mom (of course), Jenny & Jack, David and David's roommate who you may recall as he's the one I kind of love all the time.
It really was a blast. I made frosting because my sister wanted to make it and then got bored (oh, so familiar) so it fell on my shoulders and as it turns out I suck at making frosting, or the recipe was just a bad one. I think it's the second, actually. It did turn out frosting-like, though, so that's good.
Tonight I am just going to chill, chill, chill. I am done with my hellish three weeks of working Saturdays (slowest. Saturdays. Ever) and now have three weeks off. And I think I only have three more until Memorial Day and then we close on the weekends through the summer. Woo!
Yesterday's Saturday was particularly tragic because I waited at the bus stop in the snow and wind (my god, the wind!) for a half hour until the bus showed up. No, I'm sorry, until FOUR BUSSES showed up.
CITY! IT'S CALLED BUNCHING!
Lets try getting that fixed, hmmmm?
xoxoxo to all and I hope you are having lovely days.
