angelchicken | Beer and Brats and Brothers, oh my!

So today, totally out of the blue, my brother called me up and asked if I wanted to go to the White Sox game with him tonight. Now, usually, my desire to go to a baseball game ranks right around having exploratory oral surgery without anesthesia, but when does my brother ever call and want to hang out? And I haven't been to the new Comisky Park (US Cellular MY ASS) since, well, ever. Technically it isn't even new any more since it was revamped in 1992. But either way, I hadn't seen the Sox play at home in about 20 years so I said YAY! and suddenly had evening plans.

And can I tell you how wonderful a time I had?

The game was AWESOME! The Sox spanked Kansas City like woah and there were home runs and fireworks and I had a churro for this first time in a loooooooong time and asked David all about his work and life and stuff and had *such* a nice time! I am so thrilled I went.

Funny coincidence?

I texted the Boy to tell him I was at a Sox game and how random but fun. He texted me back because *he* was at the Yankees game with a completely last minute invite and was also having a blast. What are the odds, yo? Neither of us ever go to baseball games, yet here we both were. Funny world.
