(no subject)

Oh, I have had such a Red Queen* of a week. Last night I was so tired when I got home I threw my laundry in the wash and slept for a half hour while it cleaned. So busy and nothing to show for it. Well, not nothing, but not a lot.

And I am working tomorrow because two different customers OMGHAD to see me on a Saturday so I just said screw it and I'm going in for the day. On the upside, I am taking two three day weekends in a row. That is good.

Also, I am leaving in about five minutes to have a long leisurely (it had better be leisurely, damn it) dinner with friend HR and there will be wine. I look forward to that *quite* a lot (er, the time with friend. Though the wine, too).

Also, in an attempt to bolster my spirits the world did something nifty tonight.

I saw the Batmobile on the way home. Just chilling there being all cool and Batmobiley. It made me happy.

Off to dinner. Hopefully tomorrow will be interesting or something what with the tourists and the air show and the craziness.

Oh! The air show is in town this weekend. Fighter planes flying over head. Loud.

* Pretentious literary reference, so sue me. It's been that kind of week.
