Dude, I lost the flow. I was all in the rhythm and the rhyme and I flat out hit the wall.

But that's besides the point. Here is the point:

I have more art!

Yes, yes I have more. More than just my Map of Beauty!

I went to the Old Town Art Fair today (held in Old town, of all places) and it was crowded (and ZOMG! how beautiful is it today?) andI made my way through the serious throng and it was pretty but nothing was really catching my eye. Then, towards the end of my perusing, I saw it. A booth of photography. These beautiful panoramic prints.

And there it was.

I got the smaller print. I *wanted* the 2' x 4' print but it was $300 ($400 framed!) and while I can use my birthday to justify pretty much anything I won't be getting the credit card bill on my birthday so I refrained from getting the amazing *enormous* print and went with the 1' x 2'.

And I got the name of the photographer, so I can always get the bigger one at a later date.

Also, I got the name of another photographer who had an amazing print of trees in black and white that I loved, but see above re: birthday justification.

Also, my mom's boyfriend (Gentleman friend? Male companion? My mom has a boyfriend and that is just weird to say), Bob, got me a wonderful print of a painting of the loop, just something little, and I love it. It's perfect. So that makes not one, not two, but THREE new pieces of art I have acquired in the past week.

Clearly I win.

Also, I might go to the Printer's Row Book Fair tomorrow and who *knows* what I will find there.

So far it's a good day, indeed.
