Best mail day ever!

So I go to work this morning, bright eyed and bushy-tailed (okay, not so much) and get there at seven and sit around until the lab opened (late) at seven thirty. Then I booted up the computer and opened the grading program only to have . . . nothing happen. Wheee! That means I did four hours of work (the program was fixed at 8:30) but got paid for five and got to sit around chatting with chums about all and sundry and Sri Lankan corundum mining. Good times.

Then I get home and not only does my mail box boast a new US Weekly detailing Paris' blackberry contents, but a fabulous post card from fenwic informing me that she lost her fortune at New York, New York (dude, New York will always take your money. It's, like, in the Bible or something) and a package from jrs1980 that is so shameful and horrifying that I can't say what it is for fear that I will lose my entire friends list, not to mention any friends I have in real life, too.*

Yesterday when I got home from work, I checked my mail, noticed my new EW and immediately practically before I completely processed who was on the cover thought "mrbig1316 is going to be sooooooo happy when he sees this."

Big, did you see it? It's your girl, yo.

Also, I have never seen a full ep of Oz, to the best of my knowledge, but I have seen snatches of it (isn't Michael/Mercucio the wheelchair guy?) and one scene I saw was with Christopher Meloni's character saying goodbye to his lover/boyfriend/something and he and lover were all upset and it was sweet and sad for a prison relationship. Also? Way hot.

Was that too spoiler-y? I know nothing about the show and can't imagine anyone on my FL will throw knives at me for typing that. Also? I have no idea the concept of the goodbye, just that it happened and they was incredibly hot kissage. Mmmmmm, hot boy-kissing.

And wow, slash has taken over my life. I'm rereading A Trip to the Stars which is, in fact, the best book ever and everyone should read it right now, and I started shipping Enzo/Auro which is squicky because they are cousins. I'd scrub my brain clean, but it's fun there, and a little dirtywrong shipping isn't hurting anyone, I think.

While I'm thinking of it, big love to everyone, but especially marsterslady and canadia_bit because they are both having particularly crappy weeks, for different, stressful reasons. *HUGS* to you and everyone else who feels the need to take a break from life, for a moment. Here you go. Just stare at this for a few moments and find a happy place I just wish I could deliver the real thing to massage your overly-stressed temples.
