Eye strain is the new athlete's foot.
Nov. 1st, 2004 04:47 pmGod, I'm exhausted. I spent much of the day grading insanely clean stones (its all luck of the draw, you see) and now I have a headache and I'm feeling woozy. Early bedtime for me.
And . . . early bedtime for me so I can wake up at 5:30 tomorrow and get to the school bright and early to VOTE.
Yes, just in case you have been living in a cave on Mars with your fingers in your ear and humming, I want to remind all of you US of A folks that tomorrow is the day you can make your voice heard. Exercise your rights and rock the vote!
That is all.
Except how confused was I when I woke up this morning and it was light out? I was expecting it to be darker because of daylight savings and my 6:30 AM mentality which makes logic something of a lark. It took the entire walk to the subway to realize that because the clocks were set back it was now the equivalent of 7:30 light which is why it was lighter, not darker. But, when I got off the train this evening at 4:15 it was already getting dark. Like it was supposed to. Glad I cleared that up. I was terribly confused.
