Note to self: The
nytimes feed is not the same as
whedonesque. Headlines like "House Proposal Puts Less Power in New Spy Post" are not actually Buffy related. ::head desks::

Having, in the past week, seen Requiem for A Dream, The Magdalene Sisters, Leaving Las Vegas and Dead Man Walking I can now say, with absolute certainty, I am not:
- an alcoholic
- a hooker
- addicted to heroin
- ditto diet pills
- a drug-induced amputee
- an electro-shock therapy patient
- a nun (not that that's bad, mind, but I'm still not one)
- a death row convict
- an evil nun (that is bad)
- whoring myself out for drugs
- residing in an "asylum" for wanton girls ('assay' being in quotes as it really was a prison for girls who were raped, flirted, had a child out of wedlock, looked at a boy, had a brother, had a wet dream, menstruated, grew breasts, was a female, many (save rape and having a child out of wedlock) I have/ have done)).
But all of the movies were very good, my favorite being Requiem for A Dream followed by Dead Man Walking.
I'm glad I saw them all, though, as some of them have been on my "to see" list for years.

Tonight I enrolled for my 401k plan that I am eligible for. Woo Hoo! Also, Yee gahds.
After much thought (really) I went with 7% of my pay (the amount the company matches) divided into four different accounts, basically 50/50 high risk/moderate risk.
I think I am okay with that. If anyone knows of any reason I should not be okay with that, please let me know. I can always change it. And I'm 28 and have neither a family to support nor an impressively large income that won't feel the dent if I were to take out more.
It's all very confusing. We'll see what happens.

I have videos I want to get rid of. How annoying. I would feel bad just chucking them, but I'm not sure what I should do. E-bay? Load them in a cart and hawk them on the street? Make a video fort? Decisions, decisions.

Moving guy called me tonight. He was apparently in Florida doing helpful type stuff. Go him. Still don't really want to see him again. I thought he was done.
New problem: I usually know it's him when he calls because the number comes up restricted. But now my mom has changed her plan so all of her cell calls come up restricted. Damn it.

Am going to the dentist tomorrow for the third time in two weeks. Hopefully to end the Saga of the Cruel Tooth of Doom and Pain. Fingers and toes crossed? Check.
Of course, then I have to go back for a standard check up, but at least it won't be the ol' drill n' fill. I hope to god.

I know there was much more to say, but I can't for the life of me remember. Kisses to all and I hope everyone has a truly wonderful week.
