Sunday night lethargy
Jul. 11th, 2004 07:57 pmUgh. I am so blah tonight. Though I suppose I can be blah because I was all productive and shit today. No, really. No. *Really*. I did laundry, cleaned out my bag, went through my heaping pile of mail/papers and chucked all the crap and junk mail (and once again made the completely empty vow to just toss the junk mail as it comes in. Never gonna happen). I also went grocery shopping and made lunch for le week.
I realized I eat lots of veggies. Well, I re-realized it. Today I bought spinach, yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, mushrooms, red peppers and green peppers. Mmmmm, salady. This is actually what I usually eat during the week. Often with kidney or black beans thrown in for protein. Or maybe chicken. When I'm not completely and totally sick of it.
I have two doctors appointments this week, which is nifty. On Thursday I am going to a dermatologist because my skin just pisses me off and I want to try Acutane (Acutain?). I know that it dries the fuck out of your skin, so I want to do it during the summer and fall months when there is still humidity in the air, as opposed to the winter months which suck the moisture out of you like a vampire bat. Or maybe just a vampire. So I am going to this new guy (old guy didn't take the new insurance) and maybe I can get the blood work done soon.
Then on Friday. Oh, I am excited. I see a chiropractor for the very first time. I can't wait. My upper back and neck are killing me not-so-softly and I want to be free of the pain! Free, I say! Hopefully he can do that without causing permanent paralysis or anything, cause that would be a bummer. I know, I know, they don't actually *break* you, but with the neck cracking and the bending and the squooshing I'm a bit concerned. Still, it's for the greater good. That good being less pain for me.
So, lazy and lethargic and Sunday and doctors and, well, that's about it on the exciting life of me.
I should probably get cracking on the apartment viewing, though. What with me being homeless at the end of next month.
And crap. I have a freaking shower next weekend. I have to get a present. Maybe after work tomorrow. Grrr. I love my friend, but a Bridal Shower is exhausting. It just is.
