This time tomorrow I'll be . . . on the plane. Damn.

First and foremost, my west coast friends - Are you good? A little shaken, a little stirred, but overall just fine? I am guessing Big and Effenfine are because they have posted since they felt the earth move under their feet, but I've not seen anything from saucy or fen. Ladies? (of course, they happen to be two of the peeps who post sporadically, so I am going to assume they are fine. Hope they are fine. They should be fine. They are both in the Bay area (I believe) and I think it wasn't as bad up there.

Since I have been home I have:

- Made a half-assed dinner
- done a half-assed packing job
- done some half-assed cleaning
- done some half-assed dishes
- slathered lotion on my hands about a dozen times (It should be noted that the dozen times have happened in about a three hour period).

Good Godfrey Cambridge, I'm the embodiment of lethargy. And painful hands. I know I get dry in the winter, but the palms of my hand are freaking peeling! I don't peel! It's annoying and itchy and I don't like it.

Can't you feel the Christmas Spirit just radiating off me?

I am excited for the holiday. I am. I love seeing my fam and being in Chicago and stuff, but I just want to be there. I hate flying and that puts a touch of a damper on my pre-Chicago mood.

But! No boss today! And happiness ensued! It's nice being able to work and not have to deal with her. I actually accomplish things and do a good job! Yay!
