angelchicken: (Yes sir)
Happy Birthday, James Marsters!

If you happen to be trolling the lj threads (hey! It could happen. In some reality, I'm sure) I still think you are the sexiest man in Hollywood and I cross my fingers that I look half as good as you when I am 41.

I lurve you and your sexy Spike, too!

In other news: I got up at six this morning and took a long walk. I got a little sweaty (and alas, no one to lick it off) and my heart rate went up, I assume. I am going to say I walked between a mile and a half and two miles (closer to two, though). And I really only walked for a half hour because I forgot to take into account the getting dressed and brushing my teeth and hair parts and I started kind of slow to warm up the muscles that I do have. I'm fairly certain. Maybe.

So this waking up at six thing might work. We'll see how I feel in a few hours.

Things I learned in my early morning constitutional:

1) There are quite a few cats out in the 6:00am hour.
2) There are a quite a few sprinklers going in the 6:00am hour.
3) There are very few people out and about in the 6:00am hour.

Don't you feel better for knowing that. :)

BWAH!

The Fab 5 on straights in society:
The Advocate: Before you’d done the show, had you ever—I mean, obviously you had met straight people, but perhaps you didn’t know they were straight. Had you ever really met any straight people?
Carson: I’d never actually spoken to a straight person before.
Kyan: Actually, my mother and father were straight.
Ted: It’s a shocking discovery for a lot of us, but there is a world outside of Chelsea. Some of my best friends are straight. And there’s nothing wrong with them.
Carson: As long as they act gay in public, I’m fine with it.
Ted: As long as they don’t talk about it and shove it in my face, I really don’t mind.

Hee! You can find the rest of the interview if you click here.

I so love Queer Eye

*sigh*

It's 4:00pm on my second to last day at my current job. I have stacks of work I want to get done before I leave, so as not to leave the current company in the lurch.

My boss asked me to write out a quick job description and how- to guide for whomever replaces me.

I could be cleaning up my area and getting together stuff so I don't forget to bring anything home.

Instead, I am ogling pretty pictures of James Marsters from his upcoming SFX interview, including this pic of the second cover which is just yummy.

I consider it time well spent.

Huh

Do you know what fic I love? I really love the Buffy/Spike relationship and I think it it fun and interesting and conflicting and really just excellent?

Awkward Phase by that author. You know the one. The one who is going to update it soon, I'm sure. Because I love it so much and I would love to know what happens.

::scurries away and tries to look innocent to avoid whapping::

It really is an excellent story!

You know how you watch a show and you see a character and you just see the actor as the character, so anything that is out of character throws you for a loop?

Am Acker is on the cover of FHM UK.

I find this just bizarre
