So. It's Thursday. Get up. Get dressed. Get pissed about the weight I've gained (How? How has this happened?), go to work.

La la la.

Around tenish, get called into bosses' office. Get told to call MM, a woman I interviewed with a few months ago.

Okay.

Call MM. Apparently the woman they hired (she had more experience) got a permanent job elsewhere and the guy they hired to replace her (who also had more experience) doesn't play well with others (which is a problem when your job is basically large scale customer service). And then they thought of me.

So. If I want it, I have a new job. Completely and totally out of the blue. Hell, it's so far out it's practically out of the prism.

Of course I totally freaked out. Called my mom and had a nice little nervous breakdown (I like where I am, but it might be a complete dead end job. Which won't help me to amass my great fortune). I don't know if I want to work at this place for one reason specifically. Yes, the pay is about $6,000.00 more a year, but I have been at my current job long enough to get benefits. And I might lose that if I move to this new position (the position is actually for the same company, just a different sub-company). And if I have to go through an agency (it's a long term temp job) then I have to wait another six months to get benefits through the agency. But if I go through RGI then I can keep my hours and get health.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to take it regardless. But I want my benefits. Damn it.

So. Interesting day. Really.

Dessert usually comes before dinner, right?
