Big huge hugs and love to (in no particular order) sunbrae, jennlynnster, eep1313, ghoulchick and family, who, by the way, are absolutely adorable! No trace of evil anywhere. Suspicious, methinks. ;), sarah_p, rocknrollgidget, dreago, dionneshea, canadia_bit, abby20, fenwic, caltrask55, truecrystal, sodanyc, & mrbig1316 for my wonderful Holiday cards! I have them up on my wall and I am never ever going to take them down. They make me too happy.

And yesterday I bit the bullet and registered at match.com. Why haven't I gotten hundreds of e-mails from men clamoring for my attention? I mean, it's been a whole day! What on earth are they waiting for?

Dude, it has taken me, like, two years to finally do it. And only because one of my really good friends met her boyfriend through theonion.com. So, a success story. That helped. And I'm still a little wary. I'll keep you updated, though. Let you know if anything works out.

You know, the Onion personals are the same network (Spring Street) that the TWoP personals used to be on. And honestly, the people there seem a lot more interesting. I have a profile at Match only because the personals from the weekly paper here got absorbed by them and they keep sending me these emails with my "matches" and 99% of them are horribe. I know other people have had luck at Match and maybe you have more to choose from in NY, I'm just sayin'.
